When Rachelle & Guy first locked eyes, they never could have imagined the beautiful adventure they were about to begin together. They certainly wouldn’t have guessed that someday they’d be saying “I do” during a breathtaking Pine Lake Country Club wedding celebration! But on a radiant Michigan summer day, Rachelle & Guy’s family and friends gathered together to celebrate the beginning of their new life together as husband and wife. And I was beyond thrilled that they chose me to document it all!
The morning was downright bursting with joy and laughter. Decked out in matching silk pajamas, the bride and her bridesmaids shared some champagne while talking about their memories with Rachelle. Meanwhile the groom and his groomsmen were relaxing and having fun with a microphone stand that was in their room. And when the last boutonniere was pinned and the last curl was sprayed, we all headed off to the ceremony venue. Beautifully set in front of the lake, the Pine Lake Country Club wedding ceremony venue took our breath away. But nothing could compare to Rachelle’s radiance the moment she walked down the aisle. The look on Guy’s face when he saw her was unforgettable!
I was so amazed by the beautiful scene that all the vendors painted with their talented work! From the romantic floral arrangements created by the bride’s close friend to the provocative cake crafted by the catering from Pine Lake Country Club, I couldn’t help but photograph every last detail! One of the things I love most about weddings is documenting the unique details a couple has included throughout the day. On Rachelle & Guy’s wedding day, I loved that they brought some of their favorite local businesses together. They had a tea station from Warren Nutrition and a much needed coffee station from Qamaria! What a great idea!!
But the uniqueness of their celebration didn’t end there! For their grand entrance, Rachelle and Guy danced their way to the reception with the music of Basam, Chaldean drums, and flute. This was so special since it resembled Rachelle’s middle eastern roots. It was so amazing to see how happy everyone looked, especially Rachelle and the girls dancing with their yalekhtas, which are handkerchiefs with bells on them.
And when Dj Kenny Washington cranked up the music and the guests flooded the dance floor, I couldn’t believe the party was still just getting started!
As the party drew to a close, the guests gave their last hugs to the newlyweds before they ran off into the night to begin their life together as husband and wife. However, not before doing a stunning sparkle exit.
I am so grateful I was able to document this Pine Lake Country Club wedding day in all its magnificence, and it’s a celebration I’m never going to forget! Congratulations, Rachelle & Guy, on 1 year anniversary of your life together! I can’t wait to see you again soon!
